Mort aux Rats (Death to Rats) is a parisian based cultural association. It was created in 2022 by a local group of friends. The format is a zine with open calls that invite all artists and broad creatives to respond to key themes covered in each issue.
‘Le Rat Guidant Le Peuple’ responds to Issue 05 on the topic of revolution. Responding to the prompt contextualised by the increase in retirement age in France, I re-imagined Delacroix’s famous painting ‘La Liberté guidant le peuple’ to explore the similarities in political discourse throughout the history of France.

ULTRA SONS was a concert and art fair held by Mort aux Rats at Hotel de Ville, Paris. This event spotlighted various multidisciplinary creatives – tattoo artists, rappers, photographers, techno DJs and more.

‘Stevie Wonder on That Funky Vibe’ responds to Issue 04’s theme on funk, love and good vibes. This image allowed me to explore the distortion capabilities of Blender, as well as challenging myself to utilise colours to create a still image with 3D.
